This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class of 3- to 4-year-old students is a creative, inquisitive, smart, energetic class of preschoolers! My classroom is made up of students with special needs who range from being nonverbal to being autistic.

My fun class amazes me every day.

Their ability to learn and retain academic knowledge is unreal. They inspire me to come up with new learning activities to help them to reach their fullest potential.

They love to learn about new things. They love to build and create. They love to look and ask many questions about things they have seen. Our school is one of the largest urban school districts in my state. All of the students attending in our district receive free lunch. My students deserve the best of the best.

My Project

These materials will make a world of difference to my students. These materials will help teach Language and Literacy to students as young as 3 years old. My 3 year olds are interested in learning their letter and letter sounds already, how amazing! These materials will help promote their letter/sound recognition early, to set them up to be successful when learning how to read in the future. Letter/sounds are so important and something we work on everyday. These items will help keep my students engaged in the activities while also promoting learning!
