My Project

My students are in the full swing of things in the classroom. They love building relationships, they love learning, and they love to eat. The one thing that has been consistent this school year is their hunger. My students are always hungry when they come to school, and they are hungry before they leave.

Hunger shouldn't be a concern for them.

When their little bodies are hungry, my students have a hard time staying focused and more times than not, they cry. It is absolutely heartbreaking seeing a child cry because they are hungry. Getting the different snack foods into the hands of my students would make a world of difference. Snacks such as chips Little Debbie snack cakes, cereal, and granola bars would help. They would no longer have to worry about how much noise their stomach is making, but instead, they would be able to concentrate on their studies. Help fill these little bellies.
