it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
It is my great honor to be my students' first teacher. I love spending our school year getting my kids excited about learning.
My kindergartners are energetic, happy, and love learning.
They love expressing themselves through creative play and hands-on experiences. I teach in a high-needs, Title I school where many of my students are second language learners. Budget cuts have caused our class sizes to go up and many programs to be shut down. Our school is motivated to create the best learning environment for our students. We are looking for every opportunity to inspire our students, explore their creativity and create a love of learning at school and at home.
My Project
I am trying to get some new dramatic play kitchen resources and furniture for my kindergarten class! My students LOVE to experiment and play, and they love mimicking the things they see in their real life!
Early learning age children learn BEST through hands-on, active play.
This project would give us the resources necessary to play pretend every day! Dramatic and pretend play are HUGE learning opportunities in an early childhood education classroom. They promote social awareness and learning like how to play nicely, how to be a friend, how to talk to people and be social, and a million other important life skills!
