This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager learners who are ready to learn each and every day. They are full of questions, ideas, and make everyday an adventure! They are competitive, full of laughter, and a joy to teach. Each day, they not only learn from me, but I learn so much from them.

My students, and our school, is in an extremely under-resourced community in Chicago.

So, while they are excited to learn each day, they often don't have all the resources they need. My goal is to get them in the best space to keep enhancing their learning.

While these students are a part of the age of technology, I want to give them a variety of learning tools so they are able to continue exploring and find the best way they learn individually. As primary-aged students, they are so flexible and enthusiastic to take to the world by storm and I can't wait to watch them on this journey.

My Project

Everything on my wish list is to help my students prosper in their overall learning. My classroom is full of a variety of learners and my wish list reflects this! I have everyday essentials such as notebooks and pencils to help relieve any stress on my students in having to find this themselves! I have STEM and sight word games so even when we have a free minute or a fun day, they are still learning. I have alternative seating for my students who just can't sit still but really want to learn. As you'll see when looking through my list, I thought of each student and what they may want or need to be successful! By donating to my project, you will help my little learners grow and become the best students they can be!
