This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our Pre-K classroom, every child brings their own unique strengths, challenges, and ways of learning. We are an inclusive classroom, welcoming students of all abilities — including children with developmental delays, autism, speech and language challenges, and sensory needs.

Early math skills are critical, but young children learn best through play, movement, and hands-on exploration.

That’s why I’m requesting math materials that are not only fun but also accessible for *all* learners.

With your support, we hope to receive:

* Tactile counting and sorting manipulatives for sensory-friendly learning

* Large, easy-to-grasp number-related things, such as a calendar, for fine motor development

* Visual and auditory math games to support diverse learning styles

* Inclusive math storybooks featuring relatable, engaging characters

These tools will allow every child to:

* Engage with math in a way that suits their needs and abilities

* Develop number sense, problem-solving, and confidence

* Work together, learn from one another, and celebrate growth

Every child deserves the chance to feel successful in math — whether they count with their fingers, use visuals, or need a little extra time. Your donation will help us create a welcoming, inclusive learning space where *everyone* can shine.
