My Project

Our school is so excited about this project. We have several teachers and counselors collaborating to bring an outdoor garden space to our students. This portion of this multi-part project will be for the raised garden beds and growing sacks for our garden. This project will be a jump start on reinvating an outdoor area at our school that has needed work done for a while now. And what better way than to make an outdoor garden area where students can learn to grow their own food and explore.

Growing their own vegetables, fruits and flowers will teach them skills they will use for a lifetime.

We hope to be able to use these garden beds to grow various vegetables, fruits and even flower garden beds. Our vision is to have a garden year around, that is why were asking for the garden beds with the green house and weather attachments. We would love for our students to grown the fruits and veggies that they love like tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries and potatoes. But we are also wanting to expanding their horizon and have them grow items like peppers, spinach, lettuce and eventually pumpkins. The possibilities and experiences with this project are endless.
