This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My classroom is a buzzing vibrant environment for children ages 3-6 from all over the city to come together in inquiry and exploration. We are blessed to have a very diverse student and staff population.

To end this school year, and in the purpose of following my students' interests, we will be studying fashion, traditional dress, and the purpose of clothing.

This is an exciting new unit that I am building out, and I need new books and materials to bring it to life! With the books and materials provided by this project, my students will learn about fashion around the world and be inspired to make their own creations.
