This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This sensory table will make a difference for my students by providing hands-on learning. By using their senses such as touch and sight they will en chance their sensory processing skills. The table would also provide them the opportunity to develop their fine motor skills by doing activities such as scooping, pouring, and manipulating small objects. Language would also be developed using the sensory table by describing what they are doing and experiencing. This table would also create more social interactions by encouraging cooperative play and sharing. My goal for this project is that this sensory table will enhance the sensory and cognitive development for my students. I will be facilitating hands-on learning experiences that promote fine motor skills, social interactions, and creative exploration.
My students are special because they overcome unique challenges everyday with remarkable resilience and determination.
Their diverse abilities and perspective enrich our classroom, creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
