Our mission is to become lifelong learners. My students are four and five years old, and they are just beginning to explore the world they live in. Many of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
Many of our students face a lot of adversity in their lives, but they still come to school each day, ready to work hard! To them, school is a place where they feel safe, loved, and valued. Motivating my students to read and learn is crucial, particularly with the higher demands of the new standards.
My Project
Albert Einstein was once quoted as saying "Play is the highest form of research". It is this model that I'm seeking for my classroom.
What's the Sound Mystery Capsules would help my students explore their sense of hearing by developing skills in exploring sounds, comparing sounds, and making connections between objects and their sounds.
I would like to bring in Can Do! Sink or Float and Can Do! Motion Discovery. These kits will allow my students to discover buoyancy and motion with hands on exploration. Shake and Reveal Science Cards would give my students a chance to discover scientific facts while being able to move.
We are little Einsteins who are ready to explore the world we live in!
