My Project
I am hoping to get an egg incubator set for my classroom of eager learners. One of my most favorite science learning experiences has been hatching ducklings and watching them grow in class and seeing my students faces glow with excitement and interest.
An egg incubator set would give my students the experience to see what's in the inside of an egg, watch them change and grow in the shell, see the eggs hatch, and witness the transformation of little ducklings to adult ducks while feeding them and keeping them warm in their brooder.
I was able to have ducks in my classroom about a decade ago and I still consider this experience one of the most fulfilling science lessons I've had. With your funding, my students will get to have a hands-on learning lesson that I know they will appreciate and enjoy. My job as a kindergarten teacher is to foster a love of learning that will stretch over the many years of schooling to come. I really believe experiences like these help make learning fun and engaging for all of my students.
