This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students form a fantastic school. They come from various cultural backgrounds and languages, creating a truly unique and diverse classroom. Many of them lack access to technology in the home which motivates us to provide these tools for our students even more. They are funny, dedicated, brilliant, kind, inquiring minds who rise to any academic challenge presented to them.

My students are TK-5th graders who need stimulating and enthralling academic exposures in order to help solidify the content they are learning.

We learn together in a large K-5 school that does the best it can for our highly motivated population. Our school has a growing ELL population and high needs for differentiation and authentic learning experiences. Our school is a family of teachers, support staff and learners that truly care about one another and work together to deliver the best for each and every one of our students.

My Project

I am requesting one LittelBit kit for our STEAM class in our TK-5 school. Students are asked to read about stories on everyday problems, sucb as pollution, recycling, compost, etc., synthesize the information and then they are asked to design a solution for the problem.

With the LittleBit Kits student will be able to follow through a design solution by working with the LittleBit kit.

This kit will allow a group of student work collaborative on one solution on any particular problem. By thinking about a solution, designing plan and creating solution, students are allowed to use multiple contingencies during our class time and beyond.
