This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My little learners inspire me with their enthusiasm and their curiosity to explore. It’s important for my students to listen to stories. I want my students to become readers. I love reading to them every day! These stories are just perfect for my little geniuses. They will be able to relate to the characters, themes and people. These little books are amazing because the books are bilingual and the books bring a shared culture. La Catrina, will teach colors, vowels and numbers. The Color Monster, will help focus on feelings. The markers will inspire writing and drawings. Books enhance our imagination and inspires literacy.
Every student deserves equal access to reading materials, and every student should be inspired to love reading.
