My Project

In my first year in first grade, some of my students had a hard time sitting in a regular chair all day. Their bodies need to move! These flexible seating options will provide some options to help them move their bodies and be better able to pay attention and learn.

With these options in my classroom, my students can choose a seating option that works for them and I can concentrate more on teaching them reading and math and less on teaching them to sit in a chair.

Sometimes just the option to wiggle safely is all they need to be able to pay attention. A good variety of seating will allow them to choose what works best for them.
