My students are excited about learning! As soon as they walk into my classroom, they begin asking what we are learning about today. They can't wait to get started and they love to share their ideas and accomplishments with each other.
I have a diverse group of gifted students that come from many different backgrounds, including military families.
Gifted children are, by definition, “Children who give evidence of high performance capability in areas such as intellectual, creative, artistic, leadership capacity, or specific academic fields, and who require services or activities not ordinarily provided by the school in order to fully develop such capabilities.
My Project
These materials allow for students to harness technology from the world around them to invent and express themselves. They develop perseverance and creative confidence as they encounter a problem, struggle with it, and experiment with possible solutions. Through this process, budding inventors are more likely to take a risk in developing a new idea.
Students will use these skills to become producers, not just consumers of technology and media.
Instead of mindlessly clicking and scrolling, kids can create their own fun, smart, and inventive content that inspires others. Students can become creative by using various parts of the Little Bits to power their creations. Students also learn how to think about a problem, then reflect on how they respond to it with a possible solution.
