My Project

This is my very first class as a brand-new teacher, and I already know: hungry kids don’t learn their best—and they definitely don’t smile as much! I already know my new 3rd graders are going to be GREAT learners, unless they’re hungry... then they get cranky like me! I know from experience that snacks are a secret weapon! One fruit snack can turn a frown upside down after just 1 snack!

For some students, school is the only place they can rely on for a meal.

I want to ensure my students are comfortable and happy when they are under my care. With your help, we’ll fuel their brains, boost their moods, and make this first year extra sweet—for all of us!
