Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I love teaching kindergarten because it is so much fun! I am hoping someone could help us. We have a need for art supplies in our classroom. My activities are fun & neat, but we are in need of fun art materials, such as feathers, beads, shiny stuff, glitter, stamps, stamp pads, etc. I would like to have my students make letters out of meaningful materials to learn the letter sounds. For example, when we covered the letter 'g' we made the capital (G) & lowercase (g) letters out of gold glitter. This type of letter making allows the students to use their senses to feel & create the letter, therefore making it easier for them to learn & recall its name & sound. More importantly it was fun, pretty and meaningful. I have a class of 27 bilingual students & they would appreciate this donation very much. They love making things & taking them home to show off to their parents. I enjoy watching their little faces light up. So please consider us for your wonderful donation.
