Young children are natural artists and they are masters at “full self-expression”! The more materials available for them to explore the more creative they become. Self-expression through art can enhance all other areas of learning. As you know, these days there is less and less available for supplies in the classroom and often only the minimum is available for art projects. Our young children deserve to be as creative as possible and we would like to supply them with lovely materials that encourage them to stretch their imaginations. My little Kindergarteners, many of whom come from low-income families that speak another language at home, would adore using interesting tools for painting, bright colored chalks, fluffy feathers, pompoms in all sizes and colors, pipe cleaners that sparkle and beautiful papers. These kind of intriguing and attractive materials will encourage fabulous creations of all kinds.
