Help me give my students art materials such as paint, playdough, markers, colored sand, and construction paper to help them to explore their creativity and artistic abilities.
I have twenty of the sweetest most loving, compassionate, clever, and super-artistic five and six-year-olds. They are always eager to learn and become the best "Champions" they can be. 84% of students qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch, and 41% of my students are ELL (English Language Learners).
My Kindergarteners learn best through hands-on activities and lessons when they are actively engaged in their learning & when provided with a wide variety of materials and resources to allow them to use their artistic abilities.
In addition to learning the basics in Kindergarten such as Reading, Math, Writing, Social Studies, and Science, my littles enjoy having opportunities to use their creativity and their artistic abilities. The students enjoy activities that help them to develop their fine motor skills such as painting, drawing, cutting, & pasting to create projects each day. Hands-on art activities & projects allow them to "show off" their creativity & artistic talents. They are so excited to share their finished products with their peers & teachers!
My Project
My students are little readers, writers, mathematicians, historians, scientists, and artists! Giving my budding artists resources and materials like paint, playdough, colored sand, construction paper, and markers will allow them opportunities to explore their creativity and artistic abilities.
My kindergarteners are enthusiastic learners and learn best through hands-on and engaging experiences including art activities and projects.
When given the opportunity to participate in these experiences, their unique personalities shine through and their self-esteem soars like never before!
Having a variety of art materials available to my littles will provide them with endless possibilities to create projects and allow them the opportunities to dive deeper into their artistic abilities and talents.
