Little Artists, Big Voices: Exploring Expression Through Art

Help me give my students the opportunity to shine — one brushstroke, one page, and one idea at a time."

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Rudzinski's classroom raised $447

This project is fully funded

My Project

I teach a class of joyful, curious, and imaginative first graders in a rural Title I school. Many of my students face economic challenges, but each day they come to school eager to learn, create, and be seen.

For many of them, words can be difficult — but art gives them a voice.

Through drawing, painting, and creating, they discover new ways to express what they feel and think.

My Project

This project will provide my students with the art materials they need to experiment with different mediums — including crayons, colored pencils, watercolor paints, and collage materials. These supplies will support projects that align with both our art standards and classroom themes in literacy, social-emotional learning, and science.

With your support, my students will:

Explore a variety of art techniques

Build fine motor skills and creative confidence

Learn to use visual art as a tool for emotional expression and storytelling

The Impact

Our school does not have a dedicated art teacher or regular access to art supplies, so every material in our classroom counts. Your donation will allow my students to experience the joy of creating — not just with a pencil, but with paint, texture, and color.

Your support makes a lasting difference. You’re not just giving supplies — you’re giving 6- and 7-year-olds the tools to tell their stories, imagine boldly, and feel proud of their creativity.
