My Students
My students consist of artists ranging from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. My student are part of a rural community in central Florida with limited resources.
Learning through the integration of art is essential to my student's educational and personal growth as lifelong learners.
Art allows them to see the world through many different lenses. Nothing compares to the look a child gets, when they have pride in something they have created. I strive to give my students the opportunity to achieve this experience each and every day.
My Project
These materials will help give my students the genuine, hands-on art experience they deserve. The sulphite will allow them to utilize proper drawing paper for their masterpieces. Additionally, the colored pencils and water colors will supply them with different mediums to work with in classroom.
With every line or brush stroke, an artist has been created.
I love seeing the art that my students create, and the look in their eyes when they show me. With these materials they will have more tools and more opportunities to accomplish their goals. Art is tied to all parts of life, and my students want to explore it all!
