This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are an elementary art class located in a large inner city elementary school, within Oklahoma City. We love to CREATE! We love to DRAW, we love to PAINT, create FIBER ART projects, and we love clay! We also love to learn about Art History and Artists throughout different cultures. We are creative and caring and our art is wonderful! Please support our classroom and color us happy. Your donation will support around 700 students from pre-kindergarten thru sixth grade.

My Project
My students need blocks and construction paper to create little castles, cities and roads. My students love building and playing with blocks when they are finished with their art assignments. They build castles, cities, and roads, and they manage to form their own little groups to begin planning their newest creation. We also need a place to store our paper and bins for the blocks.
Through block play, they are learning about collaboration, problem solving, and a love of building.
They are so excited when they finish and they love to show off their newest creation to their friends and teacher.
