Literary Support for Spanish Speaking and Reading Students

Help me give my students books written in Spanish so they can check out books written in Spanish at our school library.

My Project

As the librarian, I love how diverse our community is and also how eager they are to read books in the language their family speaks at home. My hope is that they will check out these books to take them home to their families and read them together, and to make them hungry for more.

With this community growing, it is that much more important to me that this section of books in the library grows as well.

It it also in my goal to show them that I support them in their reading journey. It is also exciting to see how much my English readers are intrigued by the small section we already have. With a bigger selection all of our students will be able to have a better variety to support their interest as well as their reading level.
