My Project

Children love stories. Listening to them and reading along promotes love of literacy. My students have shown great enthusiasm for learning the phonics and phonemic awareness. Despite the varying levels, they have all shown such growth and enthusiasm.

I want them to have various, engaging ways to promote literacy and a love of reading including seeing familiar characters and those that look like themselves.

This diverse range of books in the classroom library will help support each child's needs. With your support, we can build a library that gives my young learners the tools they need to succeed and develop a lifelong passion for reading.
