My Students
I teach at a Title I school, in North Miami, where most of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are faced with many challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges, I have an amazing class of 24 kindergarten students, who are eager to learn and explore.
My students are creative, curious, motivated, full of energy and deserve to have access to all the materials necessary to be successful.
My goal is to ensure that my students have all the tools that they need in order to be successful in school.
My Project
My students love to write stories. I would love for them to experience digital storytelling. They need a laptop to work in pairs to create their personal stories and bring life to their stories. They will use the technology to add images, voice, and even music to their stories. I would love for my students to write alliterations and create illustrations that support and reflect their writing.
Technology allows us to redefine the way we learn.
It encourages students to discover, develop, and apply their creativity. It is a powerful tool to engage students in learning. Please help my students to become digital storytellers.
