This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am seeking items to foster a love for literacy within my first grade classroom. The majority of my students are learning English as their second language. Therefore, it is essential to build their phonics skills. I am requesting Phonics Word Games, Talking Flash Cards, Silly Sentence Builders, ink pads, and upper/lower case stamps to accomplish this goal.
Literacy is the most important part of the first grade curriculum.
As my students are English Language Learners, it is essential that I provide a plethora of ways to help them gain knowledge of our language so that they will grasp phonetics.
I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to read this project. Hopefully, this project will be funded quickly so that I can appropriately differentiate my instruction.
