My Project

This year I switched grades from third to first and I have learned a lot about what my students need. I spent this year learning about how students grow their phonemic awareness skills and how that translates into their reading skills.

Quality reading centers make a HUGE difference.

Without quality reading centers, my students are just doing busy work and not doing any real learning. Being able to put their hands on reading centers and not just ipads, helps their brain form the connections they need to become better readers. The diversity of centers will also help keep my students engaged instead of doing the same center over and over again.
