Literacy Organization and Display- First Grade Project

My Project
This project includes items for literacy centers, independent work, and displaying student work. Students are expected to work independently and in centers during our literacy block.
Student materials need to be easily accessible and organized.
Pencil boxes are for student desks. I saw them being used in another first grade classroom during an observation. Mesh bags are for organizing student manipulatives and literacy game pieces.
The pocket charts are displaying new reading curriculum vocabulary and high frequency word cards. Student work can be showcased using the pushpins as a quick way to hang without ruining it with staples.
