Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students will lose themselves in pictures and their first words. We encourage chapter reading to strengthen ourselves further. Picture books are the gateway to chapter books. We are working to build on the enthusiasm my students have every time they hear a new story. By donating to this project will help me ensure readiness in achieving academics. They are just a few steps away from reading to themselves.
My Project
My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I read on the carpet to, they complete work there! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read.
With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read every day.
They will also be able to choose books that interest them and find new adventures that students can create with their imagination.
