This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Literacy is the foundation of learning and my Pre-K students are excited to learn! The books will be used during large group circle times. The books have rhythm, rhyme and repetition that will provide a the spark to have the children join in reading along with me. Hands-on activities interest the child and through play, they will be learning their letters and having fun! I can already imagine my students rolling out the play dough and using the manipulative to build words. These materials will help make learning fun and encourage the start of a lifetime of literacy learning!
