Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I absolutely love the diverse dynamics of my students. They all bring an aspect of uniqueness to the classroom community. I have some who are advanced, the humorous personalities of those who keep us laughing endlessly, the bold creative thinkers, and the nurturers.

My Project

The resources selected will help to add more fun, hands-on learning experiences to our daily interactions. Through small and large group experiences, the resources will be used to provide instruction to help children acquire the skills deemed appropriate for the next on their academic journey. Since the start of the year, they have embraced learning and have made leaps and bounds in their progress, and I am eager to keep the momentum going!! After using the resources in a small and large group setting, I will then place the items on the shelves for individualized exploration. This is when children can freely select and manipulate the items in a manner that is tailored to their learning style and potential. We use the resources we currently have and reinvent ways to use them for an enjoyable experience. Getting more resources will add to our classroom fun in a safe yet educational way.
