My Project

Here in the Literacy Lab we are working with Title 1 students to help them become skilled readers and writers. We want a way to provide them with targeted skills to practice at home and reinforce the work that we are doing in the Literacy Lab. With these pouches we can organize materials coming home from the Literacy Lab and prevent the materials from getting confused with classroom materials. This will also provide us with a way to communicate to parents/guardians directly about student progress and how they can help support learning at home.

Our goal is to have more of an impact on students reading and writing skills while having a larger impact on their performance in the classroom.
