This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Research shows that children who begin third grade struggling in reading and writing rarely catch up with their age-appropriate peers and tend to struggle all the way through high school. All children deserve a strong start therefore, Early childhood is crucial to later success in school and in life.
It's never too early for Literacy.
These materials will provide our classroom with engaging and fun ways to build literacy skills and promote language through play and interactions with their peers and teachers. These materials will provide alternate ways of learning and teaching literacy through play.
