I.P. Academy is an all-girls free and public charter school that focuses on building equipped scholars who will be prepared to enter and succeed in the university and the college of their choice. Our focus at Ivy Prep is to allow our female scholars to learn in an environment that understands that girls are intelligent, beautiful, and talented.
I.P.
Academy girls are some of the most unique, motivated, creative, intelligent, and enthusiastic scholars that I have taught in my career. I would consider the 2016-2017 school year to be a great success. We made great improvements in data, including an increase in Georgia Milestone end of the year testing exams and attendance. I.P. Academy is growing with increased interest from the community. We are assisting in the academic and character building of our scholars to provide our Nation with leaders. Our Ivy scholars are special because their awareness and understanding that they are accountable for their success.
I teach 7th and 8th-grade math and most importantly, I develop their analytical and critical thinking skills within a 90 minute period. I instill in them that girls rock and they can be great mathematicians!
Reading is extremely important to build success in all subjects. Scholars who are on the path to college need to be better equipped with reading, critical thinking, and study skills. These tools will increase their ability to compete with other scholars around the world.
Our amazing scholars love to read and are more engaged in real-world math application.
The days of teaching math in isolation is over. I would love your help in teaching scholars math and apply it to real-world adventure and concepts! The Scholastic Math series allows students to develop their Lexile levels and complete math standards. Our scholars love to read and they should be able to read and write more in math. Scholastic math readers are effective at engaging scholars with math content and associating math skills with real-world application. I am confident that literacy and writing will assist me in preparing my scholars for high school and increasing their math knowledge.
