My students are very hungry for knowledge about the various science topics that I teach. They enjoy working together and separately to investigate further the different areas of science. They enjoy read-alouds very much, so I am working to broaden my science classroom library.
The books chosen cover a wide range of subjects for all the grades I teach science to, from kindergarten through fifth grade.
For example, I chose some books about fossils for fifth grade to understand how fossils show how environments have changed over time. There are books for my first graders to understand how animals are different and why. There are several books that will encourage all of my students to not give up when creating in a makerspace lesson or STEAM activity.
