My Project

Hello! My name is Paige Morrison and I teach at a small school in Down East Maine. I am moving to a 4th grade classroom next year and with this opportunity, I would like to have more chapter books in my library. I have implemented a "book club" for literacy in my third-grade class and I believe that this would be a very beneficial transition in my classroom next year.

In small groups, students will be able to decode, analyze, and study these chapter books in more detail.

Providing this variety of books to my classroom will also allow me to scaffold to meet literacy learning needs.

Chapter books are engaging, and fun, and encourage reading in young learners. With your help and through your donation I will be able to provide this unique learning experience with my students next school year, and years to come! I have picked enough books to provide a wide variety for all interests students may have. I have also included enough books that will last through each school year.
