Literacy Centers to Clear the Covid Blues

Help me give my students these centers which will help support health, wellness, and socio-emotional development. Literacy centers are an exciting part of our everyday learning. A variety of literacy manipulatives and hands-on material will promote learning!

My Students

These kids are so excited about coming to school and deserve to learn and grow and play in a safe environment. They spent so much time at home over the pandemic and this will be their first school experience for many of them.

My Project

These literacy centers and math manipulatives will help support health, wellness, and socio-emotional development. Literacy centers are an exciting part of our everyday learning. A variety of literacy manipulatives and hands-on materials promote student agency and encourage our young readers to become engaged in learning. Creating an inviting and organized space specifically for literacy center activities is imperative to my students' learning. These items will be in my classroom and used daily this year and for years to come. Additionally, students positively develop their social skills by playing games with peers.
