This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are very unique and amazing! My students and their families come from various parts of the world. I am fortunate that I get to learn about a variety of perspectives, customs, ​and cultures through them. Many of them have been through a great deal simply to be in a safe environment and to gain a quality education.

My students approach each day ready to take on a challenge.

They inspire me to grow as an educator. They are striving to work in a global setting and to become the future leaders of this world. I am so proud to be their teacher!

My Project

These literacy stations will be the perfect addition to my classroom. These ready to use stations will allow my students to practice skills they have previously learned in another format. These centers will take away some of the monotony of traditional classroom methods. While traditional methods are necessary, it's always important to have a level of unpredictability so that students are excited and eager to learn.

Practicing improves our performance.

When my students are able to practice the skills we learn in the classroom, I see a boost in their confidence and that is always my number one goal. I also notice an improvement in their ability to analyze text and problem solving. Thank you so much for considering this project to help my students.
