Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help us finish kindergarten strong. My students are on their path to becoming bilingual and biliterate: Spanish and English.

Our literacy centers are a great way to differentiate instruction to meet their linguistic and academic needs in both languages.

This project will provide engaging and age-appropriate activities for them to continue practicing letter names and sounds in Spanish and English. The magnetic boards will allow students to practice letter formations while reviewing letter sounds and names. The magnetic pieces to form letters will benefit their fine motor while providing endless opportunities to form letters in small groups.

Materials will be used all year long and activities can be adjusted to meet the different students´ needs to get them ready for first grade!
