My students need these sets of leveled books to read during our group time.

Help us become stronger readers! We are asking for several sets of leveled books in order to increase our reading levels. We have become avid readers in my classroom and are in need of different books that peak our interest.
My school is a Title 1 school located in a predominantly rural community hit hard by the current economy.
While our community is located in a rural part of our state, many of our students and their families face challenges similar to large urban areas. Our student body is diverse with an increased number of ELL (English Language Learners) students this year. The students in my class are energetic and very eager to learn.
I am asking for several sets of leveled books like, Guests from Japan and Soccer with Dad, to use in small groups to increase the reading level of my students. The topics of these books are relevant to the lives of the students in my classroom. After reading these books, my hope is that they will be comfortable with sharing the events in their lives. My goal is to inspire my students to become life long readers. I am asking for specific books such as, Alone at Recess and Two Homes, so that I can teach reading as well as teach life lessons. Providing these selections will ensure a magical reading experience for the students in my classroom.
My students need these sets of books to read during our small groups language arts time.
Providing these books will ensure that each student will have an opportunity to read his/her own book during small group time. The topics covered in the books will give my students an opportunity to hopefully open up and share about their lives.
