My Project

My students are preparing to be leaders in the real world. There is a lot of literacy and financial literacy to practice and learn in 5th and 6th grade. I love their desire to be challenged and longing for learning. They never give up.

The focus of this project is to build an inclusive active learning literacy center for my students.

The wobble chairs make it easier for students to assemble into groups and move around the well populated classroom. The financial literacy game will build decision making skills. The Spanish and bilingual resources offer unique opportunities to my growing Spanish speaking students in my classroom community. The literacy tools requested will enhance learning experiences that build on inclusion and empathy for others.
