Literacy Center Fun for All

Help me give my students engaging games that will help them to develop the skills needed to blend sounds and decode words.

My Project

My students are a wonderful group of first-graders. They love listening to books read aloud and playing literacy games. Beginning readers need lots of experience with phonics and opportunities to practice blending and encoding words. I want to purchase Phonological Awareness Puzzles, Alphabet Sounds Picture Magnets, and Touch and Read Phonics Word Match to add to our reading centers. The games I selected will reinforce the reading skills we are learning in class, provide practice opportunities, and help make learning to read fun.
