Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Although there aren't many items on this project, they are items that our school Library can benefit from.

New books, a speaker that won't quit on us in three months, a new chair for our teacher, and some other basic needs are on this project.

New books are always needed, especially newer titles that the students look forward to from their favorite authors.

A new wireless speaker for our Library/Computer lab, a nicer one that will last us years instead of maybe the school year. To be used for digital learning and student-led events.

A new chair for our teacher! Her current chair is almost on its way out, and that is usually a bigger purchase that is hard to ask for. This chair will also act as a library chair and a chair for fidgety students. If it works well, we look forward to getting a few more with a new project after this maybe.

Some smaller but definitely important items. The always needed sharpie packs, to label our library books and more. Calm strips for our room as well. We have heard great things about using these in any type of classroom and would like to try them out.
