My Project

Please help our classroom with literacy and math manipulatives. Students learn better with hands-on manipulatives. Third grade is a challenging year for struggling readers. This is also the year when students need to know their multiplication facts. With these manipulatives, we could work in groups and focus on students that need interventions.

Covid has impacted the level at which many students enter this grade.

They struggle with reading and are at a first-grade level. Many students struggle with writing their letters and numbers backward. Students have to master first and second-grade skills before learning third-grade standards.
