This project aims to help us fill in literacy gaps. It qualifies for the Panda cares donation because many of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. We need anchor chart paper to capture new skills and learning for students to refer back to. The games will give students the opportunity to practice new skills, like essay writing, vocabulary, and word choice in a fun way.
Literacy is something students will need long term.
The college flags will reinforce representation as we discuss the importance of what we are learning. As students work through these skills and meet goals through out the year we would like to celebrate them with shirts and other school gear that they can wear and be proud of.
