Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students love to learn about their world by being hands on. This project will allow our students to have access to materials to enhance their language and identity.
The goal for the project is to help students have access to materials such as markers and stickers tools to use their voice to learn about their world.
For example, we will use the googly eyes and paper to supprt our self identiity project. We will use the baggies to send bilingual books home for practice and the alphabet stickers to target vocabulary. Our students are mostly English Language Learners and are from a humble background. They are appreciative for any extra support for their learning.
These materials will give students the opportunity to create, learn and express themselves. Thank you.
