Help me give my students materials to help close the learning gaps we are seeing from Covid. I am seeing word building activities and phonological awareness games to help students who are struggling to catch up.
Our students are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and hard working. They love learning and want to succeed. Covid has created new challenges for these young students. They have come to school with little exposure to letters and numbers due to preschools and schools being closed.
My Project
Our students are behind academically and socially due to the shut downs of Covid 19. They struggle emotionally in the classroom and need hands on materials to keep their attention. We are trying to get materials that can be used for intervention with struggling students. We seek to close the gap from Covid and help them get on track for learning. We know that it is easier to catch these little ones up now before they fall further behind. We seek to provide positive, fun learning experiences to help them progress and grow!
