Literacy Across the School Day

My Project

Gone are the days of the one size fits all readers like "Dick and Jane", or passing out the science or social studies books. In our Kindergarten class we do not have ANY reading materials to read together as a class. I am asking for a class set of read in class and then take home magazines for my class to enjoy together.

"Let's Find Out" and "Science Spin" are both take home magazines to read together in class and then take home for reading practice.

These magazines will allow me to give my students reading opportunities throughout the entire school day and will follow them home with at home activities. This valuable resource will help bridge the learning gap between my students who have reading materials at home and those that do not.
