My Project

At our school, we love promoting literacy! As the school librarian, my goal is to encourage students to read for pleasure. This year, we have started a literacy program that does just that. Each month, we provide the students with a library book, a healthy snack, and a school supply or stress relief item. Students keep all of the items and just need to return their books each month in order to get their new subscription package. Through this program, students are exposed to new literature and hopefully discover a book that they love! It is with the help of awesome donors on this site that we are able to provide this program free of charge!
