My Project

We have students read 4 books every year during the school year. Students get to choose these books with some parameters or requirements.

I have stories in my wish list that will correlate with the History the students will learn throughout the school year, the Holocaust, the Civil War, and WW1.

This will be a great way to help students connect what they are learning in History with some fictional stories where the setting takes place during those times.

Next year I would love for my students to read in small group lit circles. I have several books that are perfect for group discussions, especially with their peers. I want a small groups of five students to read different books, talk together about the book and create something to share with the class to what the book was about.

Ms. Unger will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 16.
