Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are getting ready for another amazing year in Kindergarten! To help ease into learning, we need full bellies to help us concentrate.

Kindergarten marks the beginning of education for many students who may have missed preschool.

We will focus on welcoming all students in feeling secure and comfortable.

Typically, at the beginning for the school year, kinder students are always hungry and need several movement breaks as the day is very long. The district does not provide snacks and we know that hunger impedes learning. With full bellies, students are more able to focus and concentrate making them available for learning.

Additionally, we need to learn the basics for staying healthy, by disinfecting our hands and desks with wipes and hand sanitizer for our hands. We also focus on proper handwashing to avoid getting germs and colds.
